    When I took this shot and titled it, I had an image at the back of mind of hundreds and thousands of ” better rush to the shop for some fags before it shuts ” over 50 years or so. Then the scurrying and scuffing feet over the step to get their fix. Also many of the people who caused that wear, now long dead.
