Like a stitch in a carpet hey? This was taken very early on New Year’s day this year, as the rising sun glanced the dew-laden heathery hillside opposite. The patches are due to rotating heather-burning over the years and the strips on the land at the bottom of the picture are old peat digs.

Not being an arty sort of a person I am surprising myself at how often I return to this blog to see what the next post is like!
I think the colours and shades of this post are Fab! and yes I can see a path running up the hill!!
