  1. This is a woman?? LOL. looks more like a man to me, but that’s new fangled fashion for you!

I wonder what she is thinking about, noting the glass of water by her it must be something serious. Maybe she’s pregnant and it’s not her husbands, or now she’s tried the fur hat out she’s not sure she really wants to go on the Everest trip afterall :))

It could be you’ve invented a new game here Mike, the person who comes up with the funniest caption to represent what the woman is contemplating is the winner 😀

    • The gender ambivalence felt strongly here seems weirdly echoed by her? being posed betwixt the ladies and gents loo doorways. It wasnt deliberate, but sometimes a picture ends up imparting a lot more than its surface detail.
Yes.. what is she contemplating? Penny for her thoughts and all that.

  2. And then, one Thursday, nearly two thousand years after one man had been nailed to a tree for saying how great it would be to be nice to people for a change, a girl sitting on her own in a small café in Rickmansworth suddenly realized what it was that had been going wrong all this time, and she finally knew how the world could be made a good and happy place. This time it was right, it would work, and no one would have to get nailed to anything.

Sadly, however, before she could get to a phone to tell anyone about it, a terrible, stupid catastrophe occurred, and the idea was lost forever.

    • ” What had been going wrong all the time…” Let me guess, humanity had failed to wear The Yukon Tracks Trooper hat with genuine rabbit fur c/w lemon dayglo hi vis jacket, in sufficient numbers? 🙂
btw The cafe’s in sunny Muswell Hill.

      • Nobody ever found out what the idea was…

Nice bit of bunny fur, but probably looked more sensible on the bunny. I’ve not, to my knowledge (and I don’t always know where I am) been to Muswell Hill, but I’m very fond of the Kinks.

        🙂

      • Not forgetting the whacky and wonderweird Bonzo Stinkfoot aka Viv Stanshall, in whose final place of residence in MH before tragically dying in 1995, I lived between 2000 – 2007.
His trouser-pressing spirit influence may have accounted for my inexplicable urge to regenerate Dada perhaps…
