I try to create works that have diverse levels of meaning to them – otherwise it’s just pretty postcard art or else taking the rise with concrete plinths and sawn cows etc which are cheap shock shots to get the paying punters through the gallery turnstiles.
or staring at the beach from a pier above? where someone has mislaid a square shaped flask. Is this art to make you think?
