Vertical Horizons by photo plagiarist Jacquet-Lagreze.

” Vertical Horizons” – a new book of ” upwards vertigo-inducing images” of Hong Kong architechture, captured by Frenchman Romain Jacquet-Lagreze.
It may be a new book and the images rendered stunning in advanced digital manipulation but the idea is nicked.. and in the case of “Panic Attack” by Dean Christopher and Michael St.Mark from 2007; on grounds of unmistakable similarity of content, composition and concept, there would appear to be definite legal grounds for IP copyright infringement law suit proceedings – for the time being you decide, as they say…

  1. this has to be one of the most blatant cases of plagiarism I’ve ever seen!

Where has the original creativity of an artist gone? Have all their ideas dried up so much that they have to resort to stealing other peoples?

I disgusted, and more so as they seem to be able to get away with it, are they so cocky that they think no-one will ever challenge them?

I am the very proud owner of a [copy] print of an original ‘Ogitrev’ and I love it, how dare someone try to imitate your excellent and very original ideas and work Mr St Mark!
