Some serious imitation @ Frith Street Gallery

Showing at Frith Street Gallery, Soho til January 19th; artist Fiona Tan’s Elsewhere video installation.
( Below ) Two stills from Tan’s current Elsewhere video  installation ( 2018 ) alongside two pre-existing works ( 2014 / 17 ) from London Dada artist Michael St.Mark .. and a third compare; a still from Tan’s Ghost Dwellings series ( 2013 ) alongside one from pre-existing Spirit Sheds  series ( 2006 ),  again by Michael. St.Mark.

All “unmistakably similar” in IP lawyer parlance.

Yet in that very silence lies a subterranean admission of guilt.
