London Dada Work No. 226; Two Thousand Feet Beach

Two Thousand Feet Beach
c. 2006 Michael St.Mark
( The Black Mountain, S. Wales )

Once upon a seabed
many millions ago,
sand got
lifted 2000 feet, got
worn into sand once more

Now high on a Welsh mountain top
forming the shore of a hearty pool where
Sheep take a dip and a sip, their
eager hoof prints stamped upon

A two thousand feet beach
