I am quite impressed by the way this piece is being displayed. Is there any particular attribution to the tile patterns on that floor at Tate Britain?

Perhaps after Piet Mondrian, or something?
I’ll ask.

Hmmmmm strange one this it looks to me like an early example of a shopping trolley, abandoned as they often are and awaiting collection by a pimply youth from the local store.

It’s just a folding chair rack (sideways view), of which there are a few parked tidily away in quiet corners of TB.
Ready to be wheeled out and disgorged at the little in-gallery talks and events they throw from time to time.
