A Dada protest work, highlighting the plight of factory-farmed animals and the unquestioned obnoxious and barbaric  tradition celebrating the birth of Christ with industrial scale slaughter of millions of young animals and birds for human consumption; indoctrinated as harmless fun in the minds of young children.  Latest in our public space juxtaposition installation  art series.. click on the images to enlarge.

In what we believe to be the first works in a new genre within Installation Art,
deliberately selected items from separate product aisles within a large
public retail environment are brought together and juxtaposed so as to create
surprise thought-provoking dichotomies in the minds of unsuspecting
passing shoppers, and in so doing breaking down preconceptions from
advertising or brand image; revealing certain uncomfortable – or humorous – realities.

Following on from yesterday evening’s Turner Prize ceremony in Gateshead, when the public were again subjected
to some pretty thin creative gruel in the form of drab cerebral art fare, including this year leaning park litter bins, videos of floorboards
and scenes of urban dereliction rendered in modelling paint;  we at London Dada think it’s about time to call a …
